Luis Anxo Rodriguez Vazquez 'A Torna dos Pasas' Tinto, Ribeiro, Galicia, Spain 2020 ^Sale

The region of Ribeiro is a tiny DOC in Northwest Spain. Luis Anxo is often credited as not only one of the best growers in Ribeiro but in the whole of Galicia. He vinifies only the grapes from his vineyards, so he's in the "colleiteiro" category.

The 'Torna dos Pasas' is a blend of local red varities, grown on granite soil. Brancellao, Caino and Ferrol are used. This is a rustic and earthy wine, with some grainy tannins and a wonderful texture from the granite soil
