Louis and Claude are 8th generation winemakers and the vines used in this are 100 year old and grown on a mix of granite and decomposed schist. 100% Gamay and made traditionally and semi-carbonically but used a grill to partially submerge the cap. These are thoroughly age-worthy wines. They are certified organic and very low levels of SO2 are used. They are full bodied for Beaujolais.
