Marc Isart was the head winemaker at Bernabeleva, which led him to be one of the founding members of Commando G. Deciding to step out on his own he went back home to the hills of Madrid to start his own Domaine: La Maldición. The vines are grown at above 700m and are notoriously hard to reach and work, hence the name 'La Maldicion' meaning 'the curse'.
'La Maldicion' Tinto is a blend of Tempranillo and Malvar grapes, grown biodynamically from 60-100 year old vines, and co-fermented, the aged in concrete and used french oak. It is a fresh and easy drinking wine, with lots of black berry fruits and a touch of spice, and fine integrated tannins. Exactly how it should be.
