Peter Sissick, who is Danish, is undoubtedly the king of wine-making in Ribera del Duero and some would say of Spain. Indeed Robert Parker said that he had made ' one of the greatest and most exciting wines I have ever tasted'. This is 100% Tinta des Pais (Tempranillo) fermented using native yeasts and aged in 25% new French oak casks for 18 months. The estate is certified organic and from 5 different locations around the village of La Horra.
