A top quality Southern Rhone red from the Alary family who can trace their winemaking roots back to 1692. Biodynamically farmed using on average 50year old vines. Made from 60% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 30% Mourvedre and aged in old foudre. These are elegant wines with a very well judged use of oak but it is the Mourvedre that defines the style for me. It adds an earthiness and structure that I love.
