Domaine Blard is now 5 generations old, and currently run by father and son, Jean-Noël and Thomas Blard. Starting as a family farm that grew grapes on the side to make wine for their own consumption, in the last 20 years Domaine Blard has been on a meteoric upswing. With its wines gracing the tables of 1, 2 and 3 Michelin star restaurants, and all the while embracing organic and natural wine-making practices, Domaine Blard has succeeded in raisng both its own profile and the wines of the Savoie region in general.
Made with the local Jacquere grape along with portions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this Cremant is fresh and taut, a real expression of its alpine roots. It is mineral and dry, with beautiful floral character showing aromas and flavours of green apple, quince, acacia, with a long mineral and saline finish.
