Barco Del Corneta was created by Beatriz Herranz from her family's vineyards in La Seca, in the area of Cantarrannas, this was after several years of working within the local winemaking community. Her wines are made with organic Verdejo grapes and capture its esssence, from the regional climate to the sandy stony soils they are grown on.
The grapes for Cucu come from around the town of Segovia, are fermented in stainless steel and then age for eight months on its lees. It is a bright, softly textured wine, bursting with citrus and melon flavours, with a lovely mineral edge.
