David Sampedro is the winemaker at Bodegas Bhilar. He runs the estate sustainably . Not only are they biodynamic and plough using horses but the winery is run using solar and wind energy. This wine is made from grapes from the village of Elvillar in Rioja Alavesa and the vineyards are at 640 metres altitude. The wine is matures first in 500litre cask for a year and then transferred into foudre for approximately 7 months. It is a blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Viura. Luis Gutierrez gave this
