All the grapes are sourced from the famed 'Tignanello' vineyards in the Greve and Pesa river valleys. Mostly Sangiovese with a small percentage of Cabernets Sauvignon and Franc, aged in a mix of French and Hungarian oak cask for 12 months and then in bottle for 12 months before release.
A slightly fuller and more generous style of Chianti, with supple tannins.
