Dark cherry\/plum fruit, cloves, liquorice and mocha build as the 2022 shows its considerable depth. It is one of the few 2022s that are texturally quite resonant. The aromatics could be a little more pronounced and the tannins could use a little more polish, but these qualities were almost impossible to find in 2022. The inclusion of juice from Riserva lots is a big help.
