The Tempranillo vines were planted in 1929 in two different parts of the village of La Horra. Peter Sisseck converted the estate to biodynamics on 2000 and has been incrementally reducing the influence of oak. In this vintage he aged some of the wine in 20,000lt oak casks and the balance was aged in used oak. This was a great vintage and he made 9,300 bottles.
