The Moreau estate can be traced back to 1809 and is now run by Bernard's two sons, Benoit in the vineyard and Alex in the cellar. It is one of the celebrated producers in Burgundy and renowned for the purity and quality of their wines. They use between 10-50% new oak depending on the vintage and the vineyard. They farm organically.
The 2015 vintage was a hot vintage and they decided to start the harvest early to avoid the high ABV levels that many estates encountered.
