Celine Fontaine has effectively taken over the running of the estate. She runs the winemaking along very traditional lines , using native yeasts to ferment the must and ages the wine in used oak for 12 months. The Caillerets 1er Cru site is one of the best sites in the commune producing long lived wines from this chalky soil. 2018 was a great vintage with a warm summer producing very clean and ripe fruit. This will cellar well for at least 5 years.
