Eric Texier is a ground breaking winemaker who truly believes in wine being made in the vineyard. His first career was as a nuclear engineer and I feel he brings that precision to his wine making. This is 'old school' Cote-Rotie, 100% whole-cluster, native yeasts, no so2 during winemaking and only a small addition at bottling. The wine is aged in old barrels for 2 years without racking and is bottled unfiltered.
