A family owned estate is one of the most historic and indeed respected in the Cote d'Or. 9th generation Etienne is now running the domaine. He converted the estate to organics in 1995 and then began the process of converting to biodynamics in 2005 ,completing the process in 2012. The wine making style evolved under his stewardship and is aromatic ,supple and approachable. This is made with 60 year old Chardonnay vines, aged in 600litre oak, 15% of which is new.
I would decant to aerate as the wine is a little reductive.
