The Irish connection....Thomas Barton from Fermanagh arrived in Bordeaux in 1725 and created the Langoa Barton estate. The 2017 vintage is 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc. it was aged in 60% new oak. Wine Advocate awarded it 93/100 with drinking suggestion 2022-2042 and Jancis Robinson gave it 17+/20
