The estate is owned by the Glotin family and is on the banks of the Dordogne looking across from St Emilion. This is classic Claret in style, using 75% Merlot and 20% of Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot grown on gravel soils and aged in French oak barriques for 8 months , and two years in bottle. There is lovely aromatic restraint , blackberry and damson with a hint of vanilla spice. A rounded palate , quite silky, subtle spice and earthiness . There is great balance and length in the wine. The grapes are sustainably grown, registered 'Haute Valeur Environnementale'.
