Once a sheep farm, this winery is now recognised as one, if not the best producers on the island. The name 4 Kilos, refers to the initial 4 million peastas investment that was used to launch the winery. Money well spent we believe!!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e12 Volts is made mostly of local grapes Callet and Fogoneu, but with a percentage of international varieties. This is a rich and intense wine, but it has lots of fresh and vibrant read and black fruits to balance it beautifully.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e'\u003cspan\u003e2022 was a much warmer year with lower yields, and they harvested earlier and faster. The 2022 12 Volts keeps balance and poise, with a higher percentage of carbonic maceration and shorter time in barrel. Its parameters are similar to the 2021 I tasted next to it, 12% alcohol, but it has a faint sensation of darker fruit and more concentration. It also has some slightly dusty tannins\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e.'
